DANCEY MEMORIAL'S RICH HISTORY YET HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Dancey Memorial is a vibrant, diverse and family-oriented Pentecostal community of faithful and energetic Christ-followers who are passionate about worship and pursing issues of justice. Nestled in the beautiful city of Oakland, California, we are dedicated to community engagement and service. Our focus is to serve God, our community and our beloved city with joy, while extending hospitality through various fellowship opportunities.
Established in 1956 by the late Superintendent Joseph and Mother Plumie Dancey, the church was founded on love and Biblical principles. Our founders dedicated their lives to the well-being of the church and creating a space of generous welcome to all people. Currently lead by Pastor Joe and Lady Joetta Dancey Nobles, Dancey Memorial has continued the mission of serving our community, spiritually developing leaders, and adding to the Kingdom of God!
